So I decided to just put the text file in what seemed to be the wrong place, and it worked. But that gct file also didn't register with anything. The problem is, I never was given the option to convert a txt file to gct, so I used a seperate app to do it. Even though that would make the most sense. I had put put the gct file in the correct gct folder, but that didn't work. I had previously put the file in the other folders. "before placing files randomly on your SD or USB, learn how Wiiflow works and where it expects the files and in which format." It seems to be online now BTW, so thats good. I'm going to actually try to go online now. It's also not in one of the sub folders nested inside, much as /gct. Which is weird, because that is the unconverted file. gct file and the txt file in every folder that has anything to do with codes, and it's finally showing up in WiiFlow! So then I gradually took them out one by one, and it turns out the one it's reading is the txt file in root/codes/file.txt. BTW, RMCE01 the American code for Mario Kart Wii?ĭamn, it still didn't work. I'll move the file to the GCT folder which is in WiiFlows codes folder. In WiiFlow, it still says "Cheat file for game not found". Right thats done, it has created the file in a folder in the root directory. OK this app does not seem to do it, I will try. BTW what does Fix94 mean? Does WiiFlow automatically convery the text file to GCT? EDIT - It appears it doesn't, so I'm going to use an app on the Wii called Accio Hacks.

Basically I guess my problem is that I don't know how to manually add cheats to WiiFlow, which also includes understanding the format that they're in. That was the recommended place to go to ask for help, but no luck for me. I think I didnt add the right stuff to it for it to read it.Ĭould anyone possibly help me please? I went to the #altwfc on Rizon page which is linked on that above page, but they couldn't help me.
I tried to manually add the Ocarina cheat to it, but it didnt work. But the text is all strung together and confusing. I looked at the file which WiiFlow automatically downloads when you DL cheats for a game, its just a text file. I tired adding it to my WiiFlow folder, no luck. Is is under Ocarina Code, its just a text file. But what I want is that code off the link above. There is an Ocarina cheats option, but when I use it, it just downloads codes for that game. I used the guide at the bottom of this page I think the main issue is that I'm not running games from disk, I'm running them off an SD card. There's a custom server available which lets you play Wii online, even though the official servers are down now. Sorry, I hope this is the right place to ask.
